Rwanda 2024 will be an amazing experience for current InterVarsity apprentices and student leaders to grow in leadership, cross-cultural learning, and Bible study training skills. During this 4 week program through partnership with GBU Rwanda, the local IFES student movement, you will learn from Rwanda's rich and tragic history and how the nation has lived out healing and reconciliation in practical ways. You will partner in training local students and ministry leaders in manuscript Bible Study. You will spend time on campus learning from and encouraging local student leaders doing ministry on their campuses. You will also have the opportunity to visit and encourage local ministries that alumni of GBU have started. This global program will be an impactful experience for any student looking to grow their faith and wondering how to live out reconciliation practically.

Emily Johnston serves in Montgomery, Alabama, as a campus minister for InterVarsity. Emily joined InterVarsity staff in 2021 and graduated with a degree in Social Work in 2015.
