Mexico

We will be collaborating with COMPA (Compañerismo Estudiantil Cristiano), our IFES sister movement in Mexico. The project will begin with orientation in Mexico for 4 days. We will have 2 teams, a larger team will go to Queretaro and a smaller team will go to a new site, Guadalajara. We will invite 80 non-Christian college students from Universities in Queretaro and Guadalajara to take 4 weeks of intensive conversational English classes with us. As we help our new Mexican friends with their conversational English skills, they will help us learn about Mexican life and culture. We will share our lives with them and invite them into our community. Our hope is that the Mexican students will get connected to COMPA  and that each local project will propel the local ministry forward in a meaningful way. We will learn about cross-cultural ministry and enjoy the richness and beauty of the Mexican people and their culture.
