You Will Learn About Transformation

God transforms all of us in mission

When you go on a Global Program and are outside your comfort zone, you often listen to God more intentionally and have the opportunity to change, take action, and follow a call in ways that you have not previously. When crossing cultures, people are open to the ways God would transform them through their experience.

for example, we have seen this happen with InterVarsity students on GPs to the Caribbean. When sharing the gospel on Caribbean campuses, both U.S. and Caribbean Christian students learn to be bold sharing Christ, and students, who may not have otherwise encountered a Christian community on their campus, were called to consider Jesus.

On the Global Urban Trek, the value of communal living and resource sharing, which students see in their host families, has moved Trek students to live differently upon returning to the United States.

The participants on both trips had their vision expanded and are living lives more closely aligned with the Kingdom of God because of their experiences.

Reflect:

How have you experienced transformation while serving others?
